I haven't been back to the Noated site since I found out they discriminate against sites that have shonen ai series. [img]mad.gif[/img]

Fortunately, there's Daily Manga! Which is easier to use, *not* discriminating against people, and (amazingly) entirely run by hand by three (now temporarily two during a vacation) people...

And I was also greatly amused to find this snapshot of their current site and series ranking by number of interested people:

So there, all those homophobes over at Noated can just stew for a while... particularly since it's a non-shonen ai series that's got the top spot! They should just get over themselves already... (wandering off to fume some more. This has just been a supremely fume-worthy week, I'll spare everyone the gory details of trying to get anything accomplished around the decommissioning of a vital service that no one has actively managed for so long that in the era of budget cuts it was decided that it should be shut down entirely rather than correctly renovated... grrr....)

I don't like Noated either (with the whole 'no shounin-ai too), because when I used to go there, one of their ads was for xupiter and it automatically downloaded on my computer and it was a pain in the ass to get rid off.

Speaking of Yamada Taro, AnimeNation is having a sale and each manga is going for $3.54 apiece. And I'm trying desperatly not to go off an buy every issue, but I'm fighting a losing battle. ^^;;

Never heard of this place. So I checked it out. You know it's not a good thing when the first topic you see i s a request for a list of fanservice titles. And yes I k now tha alot of our stuff is kinda fanservicy, but there always seems to be something more sinister when it's not shounen ai fanservice. Het stuff always seems to carry a much more perverted air.

I had to download one of those programs that scan your computer and remove ads.

I used Ad-aware (download it here)

This site tells you how to uninstall Xupiter manually.

This is better than adaware (in my opinion). I'd recomend you use this as well. But be careful, adaware will detect its scanning package as spyware (which it is not). Also, give the guy a donation if you can, he does all this for free.

wow that daily manga site is soo great...soooo much better than noated. I actually never liked noated and then when they kicked off sakuracrisis, i liked it even less. Anyways thats a really great find! I never knew there were sooo many sites!

p.s. Oh and from all the scanlation sites I've ever been I only really like a few, but my all time favorite is this one!! Its the only site that has everything..good manga, beautiful layouts that are setup properly without annoying popups etc, and they have the nicest staff!! Really, everyone else always seems to be mad or annoyed at the people who download. you guys are awesome, everyone on the message board is lol...i dont think this board has ever been mad at anyone, everyone is so understanding of everything.
